Janice and Lorraine have been organising successful weekend retreats since early 2008 when they first launched GoGo Getaway. GoGo Getaway started with the aim to create the perfect crafting weekend with a professional, yet personal touch. Starting with just one event a year, it soon became clear that this wasn't going to be enough.
Dedication to the finer details in event organisation means each event runs smoothly, both before and during the weekend, leaving each and every delegate to enjoy the classes and other crafting opportunites on hand. Great class kits and bespoke class concept ideas are part of what makes a truly great GoGo event, supported by comprehensive instructions and materials.
Having evolved and developed our events specifically to suit every level of crafter, we are proud to have just celebrated our 17th sell-out GoGo Getaway at Theobalds Park, Hertfordshire. With a high volume of returning delegates year after year we believe that we have achieved the right mix and perfect combination for an inspirational crafting retreat.
Before launching GoGo Getaway Janice has shared her love of scrapbooking through magazine features and teaching at crops. Lorraine has taught at many events including the UK's first large scrapbooking event 'Bonanza' held at the NEC in Birmingham. Lorraine has also enjoyed writing articles for craft magazines and featuring in publications in the UK.
Janice and Lorraine are delighted to announce the recent addition of Niki to the management team and are thrilled about the partnership and what exciting new ideas she will bring to GoGo Getaway. Niki has taught at many events and has had her work featured online. Niki is currently on the Hey Little Magpie and the Silhouette UK Design Team where she shares designs and online classes.
GoGo Getaway...inspired creativity.
